Parlor Guitar Amplifiers

My wife was not having guitar amps in the living room.  My solution, a complete restoration and conversion of a Zenith floor radio from 1938.  The cabinet was completely restored, new period-correct grill cloth and the black dial converted to a clock.

22 Watt Blackface 6V6 Reverb Circuit

The chassis was stripped, cleaned, painted and a hand-wired all-tube circuit board and all new everything installed; upsized transformers, top quality components, new 12" Eminence speaker, new 3-spring reverb tank.

AA1164 Circuit

Chassis stripped, cleaned, painted and repurposed, hardware carefully laid out for noise reduction, transformers upsized, 5U4GB rectifier, cathode biased 6V6's, split load phase inverter. Even the lighted black dial converted to a clock.

The cool factor is off the scale, the tone is incredible.
