The Blackface MORNINGWOOD Amplifiers
The music from the miid-'60's made it a great time to be alive! Re-creating the iconic amplifiers from this era is a passion, listening and playing them can be addictive. Rich, full-bodied tone, lush reverb and tremolo, sizzling vacuum tubes doing their thing.
BLACKFACE AMPS
The B-115
Possibly the most desirable blackface amplifier, the Vibroverb (TM) AB763 circuit, around 40 watts with 1-15" speaker, 2 channels with reverb and desirable bias-vary tremolo, optionally available on both channels.
This custom version has a Mid control in the 2nd channel unlike the original. Think Texas Blues, Rockabilly, Jazz, Country, more. Extremely pedal friendly, a great clean platform.
This model shown with an Eminence 15" ceramic, your amp will have your speaker of choice, many options are available.. Note the external Bias test points , left side of the chassis. Optional post-phase inverter high-frequency cut control is shown on right side of the chassis. The optional 3-position NFB selector (stock, less, none) is next to extension speaker jack. Optional Tube/SS diode rectifier switch available. Optional "Diaz mod" switch available for increased gain, dynamics and feel. Contact me for details.

The B-410
Custom version of the AB763 Super Reverb (TM) 4-10" speaker amplifier from the mid '60's. This custom cabinet is 1-1/2" wider than the standard cabinet, using the next standard-size larger chassis, providing a Mid control on both channels. Around 40 watts, 4-10" speakers, reverb and bias vary tremolo optionally available on both bridgeable channels. The low-end in unbelievably rich and tight, mids and highs are articulate and 3-dimenional.
This model is equipped with Weber Alnico's; your amp will have your speakers of choice, many options are available.. Removeable casters and tilt-back legs are standard.
Note the external Bias test points , left side of the chassis. Optional post-phase inverter high-frequency cut control is shown on right side of the chassis. The optional 3-position NFB selector (stock, less, none) is next to extension speaker jack. These options are designed for added flexibility.
Great for humbuckers, P-90's or single coils.
Great pedal platform
Hammond (Canada) power and output transformers, 6L6GC power tubes at +/-460v, (optional EL34's), GZ34 rectifier, new stock 12AX7's, 12AT7 reverb driver, bias vary tremolo. Many options for transformers, NOS tubes, more. Your amp will be built the way you want it!
